My sons have been going to Family Martial Arts Center for almost one year. They look forward to attending every class. Mr Sackett and Mr Hopler are very patient and gives the lessons in a fun and informative way. Highly recommended!

Mr. Sackett is a wonderful instructor for all ages and abilities. My 7 year old has come a long way since he first started karate class. He is less shy and more confident. He is involved in a lot of activities and can't always make it to his usual class, but there are multiple class options, so we appreciate the flexible schedule.

Mr. Sackett is wonderful with our son always makes him feel comfortable and know he can accomplish tasks and goals. His patience with the young ones is wonderful. And they continue to learn. I am so glad this is where we decided to start his karate training.

The head instructor was my instructor and he helped me crawl out of my shell as a fifth grader. I am a college student at the moment and I couldn't be more thankful for my experience at FMAC. I high recommend this school!!!

My son has really flourished as a student at family martial arts center. I'm impressed with the Dojo's teachers and my son always looks forward to attending his karate class. He learning invaluable life skills like leadership and dedication while having fun. Highly recommend the studio!

If you are looking for a karate school to bring the whole family than Family Martial Arts Center is the place! They not only teach the fundamentals of karate, but balance a whole lot of fun with confidence building, traditional training and practical techniques. I highly recommend FMAC if you are looking for a place to learn and grow and find a school that you can truly call home.

Mr. Sackett brings award winning karate instruction to the families of Scotch Plains and Fanwood. An excellent instructor of all ages, Mr. Sackett has a great connection esp with children, and molds them into young men and women of character. Having worked with Mr. Sackett since we were both young ourselves, I can personally vouch for his work effort, heart, and teaching ability that every parent should let their child experience.

Mr. Sackett has a ton of experience teaching the martial arts to children and adults. I would highly recommend trying them out!
